Privacy & cookies
Datenschutzhinweise / Privacy notice. Updated 7 September 2026.
Who is responsible
tilibit nanosystems GmbH, Koppstraße 16, 81379 München, Germany, is the controller for the personal data we use to operate this shop and handle customer requests. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact info@tilibit.com. Further company information is in our Impressum.
Visits, orders and inquiries
We process technical data, such as IP address, browser information and requested pages, to provide and secure the website. Orders and inquiries also involve the contact, organization, address, product, payment and message information needed to handle the request. Required fields are identified; optional information is voluntary. Without the necessary information, we may be unable to respond or complete an order.
The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for a contract with you or steps you request before entering one; Article 6(1)(f) for secure website operation, preventing misuse and communicating with people acting for their organizations; and Article 6(1)(c) for statutory recordkeeping. Optional marketing and non-essential tracking rely on consent under Article 6(1)(a).
Shopify and service providers
Shopify provides our webshop, including hosting, checkout and related services. Our team and providers supporting payments, shipping, IT and accounting receive the information needed for their respective tasks. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled in this shop: Shopify can use information from interactions with this and other stores for its enhanced services, including personalization and advertising, as a controller under its own privacy terms. Privacy choices apply where consent is required.
See the Shopify-hosted shop privacy policy, Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Data Processing Addendum for further platform information.
Contact form and HubSpot
Our inquiry form uses HubSpot and Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. The embedded form loads only when you choose to load it. This connects your browser to these providers and sends technical information, including your IP address. You can instead contact us by email.
When you submit the form, HubSpot stores your contact details, message, selected product interests and originating page path in our customer relationship system. We use these details to respond and organize follow-up, including a deal record and a task for our team. This does not involve an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you. Submitting an inquiry does not constitute consent to advertising. Any optional marketing consent can be withdrawn separately.

Cookies and your choices
Necessary cookies support functions such as the cart, security and remembering privacy choices. Access to your device that is strictly necessary for a service you request is permitted under § 25(2) TDDDG. Non-essential device access requires consent under § 25(1) TDDDG. You can accept or reject optional purposes in the cookie banner and change your choice through Cookie preferences. If the preferences window is unavailable, contact us for help. The provider information above explains the associated processing.
International processing and retention
Shopify, HubSpot and their service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers use applicable adequacy decisions or safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, described in the linked processing agreements. You can ask us for further information or a copy of the relevant safeguards. EU hosting does not exclude international support or other processing.
We retain personal data as long as needed to handle the inquiry, fulfill the contract or maintain the resulting business relationship. After that, retention depends on statutory recordkeeping duties and any need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Relevant business correspondence is generally retained for six years, accounting vouchers for eight years and required accounting records for ten years, subject to the applicable legal rules. Data no longer needed for these purposes is deleted.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation, and to direct marketing at any time. You may withdraw consent for future processing without affecting its prior lawfulness.
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Our local authority is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA). Contacting us first is optional.
